Neuropsychological Assessments
What is a Neuropsychological Assessment?
At MS Psychology Centre, we carry out assessments that help us better understand how you think, feel, and behave. We explore areas such as intelligence, attention, memory, behaviour, and emotional regulation to provide support tailored to your (or your child’s) specific needs.
When there are difficulties with concentration, learning, emotions, relationships, or decision-making—whether in you or your child—an assessment can be a helpful way to understand what’s happening and how to address it more effectively.
Afterwards, we provide a clear and personalised report, followed by a dedicated session to explain the results and outline practical next steps in an accessible way.
All of this will help you to:
- Gain clarity about strengths and areas that may need additional support.
- Understand patterns of thinking, emotion, and behaviour that influence daily life at school, work, or home.
- Access a clear guide to inform interventions, educational support, or therapeutic strategies.
- Gain a comprehensive view, taking into account developmental history and key emotional and cognitive factors.
When Can an Assessment Be Helpful?
Sometimes, certain signs in daily life can indicate that an assessment may be very helpful, both for children and adults:
- Difficulties with concentration, memory, or learning
- Emotional regulation or behavioural difficulties
- Plateaus or loss of skills without an apparent cause.
- Uncertainty about a possible diagnosis (ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum, etc.)
- Changes in mood or behaviour
- Need to understand strengths and needs in order to tailor support 4o
- Request for a report for school or workplace accommodations, or for other professionals.
- Suspected giftedness or specific talents
Behind every assessment lies an opportunity to understand, support, and build a clearer path for both the present and the future.
Starting Point
We begin with an initial session to gather all the relevant information. If the assessment is for a minor, we first meet with their parents or guardians. Based on this information, we select the most appropriate tests for each case.
Test Administration
In the following sessions, we carry out the specific tests and questionnaires. For children, we also include assessments related to the school and home environments to gain a comprehensive perspective.
(Cost per session = Therapy session rate)
Estimated Duration
Test administration usually takes between 2 and 3 sessions for adults, and between 4 and 6 sessions for children, although the number may vary depending on each individual’s needs.
Results Analysis
Once data collection is complete, our team of professionals carefully analyses all the information to gain an accurate understanding of your psychological and neuropsychological functioning.
Report Preparation
We prepare a detailed and comprehensive report that includes key findings along with personalised and practical recommendations.
Delivery time: Between 2 weeks and 1 month
Report cost: €395 (children) / €295 (adults)
*If additional testing is required, we will inform you in advance of any extra cost.

In a final session, we explain the results clearly and empathetically. We’ll answer your questions and discuss the next steps together—what your options are and how we can continue supporting what you need.
